Dr. Grote is a fifth-generation Texan who attended Texas A&M University. He graduated from Southwestern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas and served as Chief Resident after completing his internship and residency at the University of New Mexico. He has practiced Emergency Medicine full-time for over 25 years, also serving as Medical Director at four different facilities. He is married with four children and has lived in the San Antonio area since 1990.
