For all other issues, such as broken bones, sprains, dislocations, abrasions, bug bites, allergies, earaches, sore throats, rashes, fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and minor burns, to name a handful, we are able to offer treatment to patients of all ages. We provide our services on a walk-in basis 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends.

The decision to take your child to their pediatrician or to urgent care for treatment of an injury will be dependent on the severity of the injury. Many pediatricians work out of a busy clinic setting and it can take several days to get an appointment to get your child looked at. Fast Aid Urgent Care provides the best of both options, as we have a pediatrician on staff in our urgent care specifically to take care of our youngest patients. Going to the doctor can be scary for many kids, having a pediatrician on staff to look after them can help the visit be less scary. Our pediatricians are trained and experienced in working with young children to provide medical care while being sensitive and empathetic to their nerves and feelings, so they feel more comfortable.

Vaccinations are a key component to the health and wellbeing of children, so they can be protected against many childhood illnesses and diseases that can cause serious complications. At Fast Aid Urgent Care, we provide vaccination services to both children and adults, to ensure that our patients are fully up to date with their vaccinations according to the CDC’s Vaccination Schedule. We are able to pull your child’s vaccination records to check and see what, if any, vaccinations they are missing, and then get them administered. We will let you know the requirements for any follow-up vaccinations needed so you can know when to bring your child back. Vaccinations may be required for your child to attend school, participate in sports or extracurricular activities, and travel in and outside of the country.

The pediatric branch of medicine covers the medical care of children from newborn through to 18 years of age, and in some cases beyond that if there are medical conditions that require the specific care of a pediatrician. At Fast Aid Urgent Care, we provide urgent care services for patients of all ages, including children of any age under the age of 18. Our pediatrician on staff is trained and experienced with the medical care and needs of all pediatric patients, so you can comfortably bring your child to our urgent care and know that they will receive excellent treatment.

Wait times at an urgent care will vary depending on how many patients are waiting to be seen. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis, with no appointment required. Volumes will vary based on the time of day, day of the week, and if there are any widespread illnesses going around, such as during cold and flu season. With a team of doctors on staff during operating hours, we will do our best to get each, and every patient seen in a timely manner. Wait times in an urgent care are shorter than those in an emergency room. We understand that children are naturally inclined to not sit still and can get impatient having to sit and wait in a waiting room, so at Fast Aid Urgent Care we work hard to get these patients processed through as quickly as possible.

Our services are offered on a walk-in basis and there is no need to make an appointment but do feel free to call ahead of time if you would like to.
