Matthew Jones is a physician assistant who graduated as the President of his class in 2014 at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, earning his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree with a minor in Health Education at the University of Houston, graduating in 2006.

Matt spent his first few years as a Physician Assistant in family medicine before transitioning to the urgent care setting, where he has been working for 6 years.

A natural people person, Matt finds deep fulfillment in his role as a caregiver. He enjoys meeting new people and helping treat and diagnose patients, making him an ideal fit for an urgent care setting.
When Matt is not hard at work, he enjoys cycling, listening to music, and hanging out with his dog Luna.
