Charlie Heausler was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 17 as a Combat Medic. Through his Army and civilian career, he obtained degrees as a Paramedic, Registered Nurse and finally as a Physician Assistant-Certified. He has worked in a multitude of Emergency Departments around the country including a Level 1 trauma center.
He has practiced Urgent Care Medicine for the past three years. His last duty assignment was in San Antonio, Texas where he retired from the Army. He is married with two children and they love San Antonio so much they decided to make it their permanent home since 2007.
